Hemaview Live Blood Screening

Seeing is believing.

Hemaview is a form of Live Blood Screening. Using only one or two drops of your blood we can investigate the size, shape and ratios of your blood cells.

Through a view of your living blood, we may be able to develop more effective personalised health strategies.

Hemaview is based on the science of Hematology. Hemaview uses technology (a microscope, computer & monitor) to enable you to view your own blood in real time. Hemaview does not replace standard lab tests, but nothing compares to seeing your own blood live on a screen in front of you.

A Hemaview Live Blood Screening assists us in reviewing the following factors (which may be impacting on your health) :

• High fat diets
• Poor nutrition
• Smoking, alcohol
• Stress
• Immune system health & activity
• Oxidative stress & free radical damage
• Inflammation
• Liver health

The white circles are Red Blood Cells (RBC's). Ideally we want these to be nice & round & all the same size.

The arrow is pointing to Platelets that are stuck together. This can be indicative of inflammation. Platelets are also involved in blood clotting.

The white shiny objects are Neutrophils - a type of White Blood Cell.

These cells provide constant immune surveillance and are commonly seen in a Hemaview sample.

Inside the RBC's you can see "shadows" which may indicate dehydration.

The small white dots are Chylomicrons which are involved with fat digestion and absorption. Chylomicrons are commonly seen in Hemaview after ingesting food.

Hemaview lets you take a real part in managing and understanding your health.  We use Hemaview to investigate and explain how different aspects may relate to your health. We include Hemaview in some of our programmes (such as our Pre-Conception Care) or you can have a Hemaview screening as a stand alone appointment.

Each screening takes about 30-45 minutes & requires only 2 drops of your blood. Includes a 4 page colour report with detailed images and explanations along with some key recommendations.

COST

Option A = the most time efficient option!

We’ll have a look at the most obvious parameters, take a look at your Immune Cells, and make some recommendations.  Allow 30 minutes for this one.      $95

Option B = the most comprehensive option!

We’ll look at everything, count your White Blood Cells, make some recommendations + you’ll receive a full colour printout of your report.  Allow 45 minutes for this one.    $125
