5 Days 5 Ways - celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week

This years theme is "Five Ways, Five Days" - couldn't suit me better if they tried! Join me in this free challenge as I embrace the "five" theme. Over 5 days I'll share resources to help you, your whānau, friends, colleagues, be in better mental health:

Monday = Mindfulness (ideas + a short mindfulness exercise you can do anywhere)
Tuesday = Moods & Foods (three short presentations)
Wednesday = Different ways to be active - join me at 8am at Petone Wharf for a stroll along the Esplanade
Thursday = Let's connect - pop in to the nourishe clinic between 12.30-2pm & say "hi", + facebook, instagram, in this program....
Friday = The 1 Minute learning concept

Meet Deborah - your host for the week:
After 20+ years in the hospitality & tourism industry, in leadership and management roles across both, Deborah now works 1:1 with clients experiencing stress & anxiety. She has a passion for helping you reduce anxiety and improve your health.
Deborah uses her 15 years of Naturopathic training, knowledge, & experience to run short programmes & challenges, designed to get you thinking.
Deborah works both from her Petone clinic, nourishe health & wellness, and online.

TUESDAY 19th : Moods & Foods

Give | Tukua – Tuesday

Give refers to actions based on kindness, altruism, or generosity. Carrying out acts of kindness boosts our happiness, life satisfaction, and overall wellbeing.

WEDNESDAY 20th : Let's Get active...

Be Active | Me Kori Tonu – Wednesday

Widely recognised as being crucial for physical health and fitness, being active is also a powerful mood booster.

Being active can not only make us feel good, it also enhances our thinking and learning abilities.

THURSDAY 21st : Let's Connect

Connect | Me Whakawhanaunga – Thursday

Connection is the ngākau/heart of our wellbeing. It weaves us together, making us feel seen, heard, and understood. When we nurture meaningful connections with others, we fuel our own happiness.

FRIDAY 22nd : 1 minute learning

Keep Learning | Me Ako Tonu – Friday

Keep Learning refers to ‘exercising our mind’ – almost like taking our brain to the gym.Any activity that challenges our thinking and expands our consciousness improves our ability to think.
